Happy Monday! I haven’t posted a Goodreads Monday in a while, so it’s time for another one! This is hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners. I use a random number generator to choose a book on my Goodreads TBR to discuss. Today, the random number generator chose number 113 which is….

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?
Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.”

Okay, I started the Beautiful Bastard series earlier this year when I first found out I really do enjoy romance. Unfortunately, I tend to get burnt out with series if I read them back to back so I stopped right in the middle of Beautiful Player. I guess technically, this should actually be on my DNF shelf and not on my ‘To Be Read’ shelf on Goodreads but I do want to get back to this one and I don’t want the fact that it’s on my DNF shelf to turn me off from picking it up again in the future. I believe I was reading this via Scribd. I still have my subscription to that service so maybe the next time I’m feeling like a steamy romance read, I’ll think of this one now that I’ve been reminded how much I was enjoying the series.

Do you like Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard series? I know this series is a little too steamy for a lot of people who are into their newer books, but that’s not the case for me. Let me know your thoughts below!
